Ken Hartwick, Senior Pastor

Pastor Ken Hartwick and his wife, Christina, have four married daughters.  Ken was a long time resident of Warwick, New York and is a graduate of Nyack College with a B.S. in organizational management. He owned and operated the Warwick Dental Studio, which he founded in 1977. After attending Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY, Ken was licensed to preach in 1995 by Calvary Baptist Church in Warwick, NY and ordained in 1998.

Since moving to Kennebunk, Ken has fallen in love with the people and the ocean. Because his hobbies include fishing, boating, walking, restoring old things (boats and cars), and photography, the Kennebunks are a natural fit. During striper season you will often find him fishing the Mousam River, fly-fishing early on and from the boat as soon as things warm up. Ken is always looking for a fishing partner or a hot tip about where the big ones are.

Pastor Ken is a promoter and loves inspiring people into action. He says, "I am creative and innovative. I love a fresh idea. I love it when people are working together. 'Community' is an important value to me; it begins in my home and spills over into the church. When the church spills over - that's the best part for me."

To communicate the Gospel with relevancy and sensitivity to spiritual
seekers is Pastor Hartwick's passion.

Ken concludes: "Church is not an event on a Sunday morning. Church happens when we leave the building and drive off the campus."
