Christie Connell lives in Biddeford with her husband, Matthew, and their two children, Isaiah and Alexa. Christie graduated from the University of Maine with a BS in Elementary Education in 1997. She taught first and second grade at the Horace Mitchell Primary School in Kittery Point before having her family. Christie is excited for the opportunity to teach in a place where sharing God’s love is part of the whole experience. Her love for children and for teaching is apparent as she enthusiastically interacts with her classes. (Kindergarten teacher)

Betsy Johnson lives in Wells with her husband of 41 years, Bruce. Their five grown children have presented them with 16 precious grandchildren. After earning first a BA degree and then a MA degree, she taught for two years, but it has been her delight and primary focus to first raise her own children and then dote on her grandchildren. "Bunches" of kids are normal to her. Betsy has been a preschool teacher in Wells for the past year and a half as well as working in her church nursery and teaching Sunday school. Her own children grew and blossomed in a Christian school environment so she knows the importance of a loving, Christ-centered experience for such tender little people. Her lap is cozy and her hugs are plentiful. She is greatly anticipating the fun of being with the children at Joyful Noise. (Preschool teacher)
Christina Hartwick has taught, developed and directed preschool ministries for thirty- five years. She and her husband, Ken (pastor of Sea Road Church) came to Kennebunk in April 2002. They have four married daughters and six grandchildren. Christina is passionate about building strong families and instilling the love of Christ in young and old alike. For the past several years she has welcomed moms from the community to come together with their young children for “Mom to Mom”; a playgroup and mentoring ministry intended to develop relationships and encourage moms to be all they can be. She is excited to see the preschool as a new level of this ministry. (Director/preschool teacher)
